   This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 1985 in serene atmosphere of NAD colony away from the hustle and bustle of the City. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of   the students. This Vidyalaya has got good infrastructural facility with well equipped laboratories and Departments helping in  imparting quality education. Under the able Guidance of the   Assistant Commissioner KVS(HR), Chairman VMC  this Vidyalaya is growing day by day from strength to strength

 

                          MISSION OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA

                                                                                                                                               

 The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,

1.   To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including 

       Defense and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;

2.   To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;

3.    To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in

        collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the

   National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and

4.     To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indian ness"

        among children.
